Body scuffs

Hi all. First post here. Been lurking for a while and enjoy all the GREAT info passed on but I have a problem that I haven't seen adressed.



The wife's Windstar has a scuff mark from the rubber bumber on a shopping cart. It's on the side door and is about a foot long and a half inch wide.



Any suggestions on removing this would be appreciated.

I remember several months ago when my sister first got her new car someone hit it in the parking lot with either a rubber suv bumper or a tire... didn't do much more than squish the bumper but it left a lot of black scuff marks. A claybar and some water/carwash lubricant and they all came off with very little effort. Kinda like a pencil eraser.

Worth a try.
