In this pic you can see how Z7 will start to "float" the polishing oils off of the surface:

Is Z7 intended to remove polishing oils and carnubas? From what Sal has said, it's not supposed to remove any kind of polishing oils or waxes. But, I doubt he would say that it would even if it does. Based upon your experince, do you typically use Z7 as a regualr wash or before doing a detail? I'm just trying to figure out if I should be using it regularly or not.

I am really not sure, this is what I see.

I usually use CG citrus wash clear 2oz and 1oz of Z7 for the initital wash and then 2-3oz of Z7 for the after polish wash in the foam lance with the rest water in a 32oz bottle. Both washes still get a sheepskin mitt used. I will ask Sal next time I talk to him.

Fantastic!!!!!!!!!!! Simply beautiful work...I love the 745..........Superior work........................:bow

[Insert usual :bow regarding gmblack3a's work]

gmblack3a- Thanks for the details (no pun intended :o ) about how you did the work. Interesting that you got such severe correction done without taking off more clear

Also, I appreciate your tip about how a trigger (vs. Metabo-style switch) can be preferable when working with the M105, that's good to know.
