BMW Jet black gets PWNED by Tru Shine + Opti Guard application!

One of the better write ups I've seen in months. Learned a lot from it. A couple of bullet points

1.) I might be a total nerd, but I think your logo'd wash buckets are bad-a##

2.) Interesting using glass cleaner for clay lube! This is the first I've heard of it. I used it on my personal BMW M5 a couple weeks back as an experiment and it marred THE HECK outta the paint. Like, DRAMATICALLY marred the paint in a way that you could see every stroke I took with the clay. The marring turned out to be SUPER shallow as it polished out easy, so it was interesting to see it's working so well for you on BMW's Jet Black paint. Would be interested to see what others have seen. I believe my glass cleaner was a heavily diluted generic brand (MVP or something I believe).

3.) I've got to get me a Dyna attachment. Barry was telling me on the phone that it is a KILLER tool to have. How have you liked yours? Speeds things up? Cuts better? Finishes better?

Loved the write up. Insane amount of gloss you got out of a killer paint. I bet the customer was absolutely floored.

I use the Meguiars Glass cleaner concentrate. with 1-2 oz in a 32oz bottle, the rest is water. that gives me 32oz x 128oz(gallon) that is 4096oz of AMAZING glass cleaner. I feel that it helps clean the surface while I'm claying better then soap or expensive clay lube. I do NOT find that it marrs up the surface at all. the clay magic blue fine clay is great stuff. DI clay bar SUCKS.

so 4096oz for $20. = $.004 per oz or 32 gallons @ 1.60 per gallon. now that is some inexpensive clay lube/window cleaner.

Very interesting tip Eric. I just happen to have a new gallon of Meg's glass cleaner so now all I need is some clay magic to try this out. Thanks.

Which specific dynabrade are you using on the 849x there? Is it on DA or Rotary mode? What RPMs do you run on that Cyan/101 combo on this JB paint?

Spectacular job.
