BMW Detailing Products

Hello All,

Does anyone know who makes BMW's detailing products? I bought the Leather conditioner kit and I have to say, even after using Leatherique, Lexol, Zaino, that this is a fabulous product. No oily residue and not sticky after application. I am also interested in their "Hard Wax". Any thoughts or comments?

thanks much,

Jeff

SONAX is the brand.

They have a few nice "complimentary products", the shampoo is ok but the waxes and polishes are not all that great compared to other products on the market.

Uh, Sonax now huh? IIRC they once sold relabeled P21s shampoo, and their gummi stick thing for rubber trim was from either 1Z or Wurth.

I got caught out on this too after posting on here! Many years i got the P21s cheap (er) from BMW dealers then real stuff.

Now it is all Sonax, the same stuff you get at Opel/Vauxhall dealers in the EU and UK.

GO to the UK Ebay to see there variety of stuff like the hardwax, IRCC there is a couple of promotional "hardwax" videos on youtube. I have tried a few of there liquids and one solid wax, but not the VXR one and they were nothing special.

I love their wheel cleaner - good deal if you get the BMW club discount. I was looking at the leather cleaner might have to get it.

I went to my BMW dealer the other day. Lots of new cars in the lot. They all had a tire dressing that looked great. It looked wet, but was a hard shell and dry when I touched it. Salesman didn't know what they use. I want some.
