Sorry about that picture, thats actually my td wagon at almost 200 kph. The car was most impressive in the diesel version believe it or not. The torque was much stronger. The new adaptive sterring gives less feel but helps in tight situations.

I happened to walk into the wrong room (yea right) and see the new six series it awesome looking. here is the right pic i think.

Its better than the current 5er. New one is slightly longer and less heav with almost 50/50 weight distribution. It also has the turning headlights that turn when steering wheel is turned, with progressive brake lamps that go brighter as hard the brake is pressed.

The alluminum body panels are cool too. It allows them to add more electronics and the car actually comes in about 50 pounds lighter than the previous model. The coolest feature to me is the adaptive cruise control. It senses the speed of the car ahead of you and if its slower it will slow you down without having to reset your speed.

At 150 mph with the electronic governor off it is smooth as silk.

Much of My detailing supplies didn't make it over so I had to rely on pictures on the products over there to decide what would work. The car wash at the gas station was the best I'd ever used.

That must have been quite a cool experience. Do you have the names of the products you used (perhaps new products as well)?

I'm not sure I'm too wild on the new 6-series's styling, but the 5 has definately grown on me. :up

To do the windows I used some Pro-window cleaner in the gallon jug.

3-M finesse for light scratches.

Because i was totally out of wax I used do i dare say some armour all spray wax that to my suprise looked great. At first it streaked a little but when followed with meguiars final inspection it left a deep wet look. Again most of my stuff was stuck in an airport somewhere. So i had to make do because i had 3 dirty display cars to do in 3 hours before a dinner for the big wigs.

Luckily I did have some micro fibers that made the windows look great underneath the stage lights.

I had a german wax product but i couldn't make the name out .

Once i whipped them into shape a cali duster and a micro fiber for fingerprints was all that was needed.

The drive cars totalling 80 were all run through a car wash at BMW AG's request or i should say insistance. The wash worked great for a car wash But i still would not put my car in that thing.

My lost luggage just arrived....here is a pic of some wax i bought in germany. It worked well. Any one ever use this stuff. This line of products is sold at the chain stores there.
