There is NO rotation with a DA unless it is a Flex which doesn't have a lot of rotation.

There is in fact rotation. A dual action/random orbital machine will both rotate and oscillate simultaneously to produce it's unique motion path. This slow motion video of the G21 demonstrates this very well. I have marked my backing plate with one silver line and you can see this line spinning about the axis of rotation while the entire backing plate assembly is also oscillating due to the offset axis.
