Car: Vehicle was a 1991 BMW 850i. M series 19 inch rims.

Rims were really caked with brake dust, and tar. Paint was swirled, but I got most of it out. With silver, they dont' show at all, unless its under the heaviest of light, excluding the sun.

Looks great Steve! Those are some serious wheels! What dilution of 777 did you use on them? Are they uncoated or cleared? If I remember correctly, 4:1 is the ususal 777 dilution on wheels.

I really like the 777 but haven't used it on wheels yet. Could be a good go to for uncoated wheels given that it says it won't blush metals.

AWESOME work!

Why does that thing have cloth interior though?

Was the trunk suffering from clearcoat checking?

Again, great work...That car shows well :).

That car was meant to be silver, did one just like it about a year ago. :)

The befores are a horror show, the afters look great! :up

I love the look of the 8xx series, pity they don't make them anymore. Superb work on the car by the way, pics are outstanding too! :2thumbs:

I LOVE it, a bimmer with cloth!!!!!!!!

I just figured for a car that totalled around 100k, they would have Alcantara in it or something...not cloth :nixweiss

You can order an M3 with colth inserts. I have been to Germany a few times and noticed that cars with tons of options sold in the USA as premium can be had with cloth and hub caps in europe. We just have such a different market for German cars.
