I gave my car a light detail few weeks ago: http://www.autopia.org/forum/click-brag/126420-light-detail-winter-2010-bmw-530d-2004-lots-pics.html

As we have had subzero temps, I haven't got a need to wash the car until last thursday. And it really wasn't dirty even then. I also put another layer of FK1000P on the car.

Now there's one layer of Carlack68 NSC on bottom and two layers of FK1000P on top.

Here are some pics taken after the wash and waxing. The first two pics are taken on the same evening, and the rest are taken on next day after the wash. The weather was crispy -24°C. Enjoy!

Yes, I agree...very nice pictures. However, maybe I am still half asleep (I work midnights and just woke up), but how in the world did you get those beautiful pictures of your car in a snowy field, but I don't see any footprints in the snow where you got out of the car and walked to your vantage point???? lol

Field? I guess you mean the lake pics... The surface is just so frozen and hard as a rock under the car. And sure I made a little circle on the soft snow to get to my point :p.

Terrific photos! I love watching the sunrise in the driver door! Too bad you didn't have someone else capture hauling a$$ over that flat with a big snow-rooster-tail. But the stuffed animal sitting cozily makes up for it :)

Pictures are great my fellow country man, especially the lake pictures :) We have a real winter here in the south also, for the first time in many many years.. The good part is like mentioned, the car stays almost perfectly clean for a week or even more, no salt or dirt flying around.. And when it is that cold -24C or -11 F The snow is so hard that it doesn't leave any footprints like warmer snow does..

We have not had that cold here though...

Haha, does that temp gauge say -20*c or + 20*c?

That "thumbs up" pics has been taken last summer, so it's +20°C :lol.

Thanks everyone!
