blue nattys

Hi, from Portugal

I recently started to take good care of my car paint, I´m using Blue Natty´s and I have a small question:
-what´s the best way to applly it by hand?? using circular movements or back and forward movements.
after applying it, how much time should I wait before removing it.

Thanks

the best way is to apply with back and forth light pressure. The movnig in circles isnt a great idea. Once the wax has hazed..a minute or two, you can wipe off.

Does it really haze in a minute or two? So if I'm using blue, should I do a panel at a time. Normally (inside) I wax on the whole car, then buff off.

that woudl work im sure. In my experience using nattys (with pappy) it hazed pretty quick. That is minnesota in 90's with high humidity though.

Try spritzing your applicator with a QD - Spray & Gloss works great - this will help make it easier to apply and remove your Natty's Blue.

I apply everything in a front to back motion rather than side to side or circles.

It doesn't seem like the blue formula needs to dwell as long as the regular Natty's, but I did the whole car and removed it without any issues.

Make sure to post pics when you are done!

Thanks PEI, i just got a jar of it(my first Jar,Paste, carnauba wax) and didnt know what to expect. I guess it doesnt matter anyways as i will be using it as a topper.

I've been getting 6-8 weeks, pretty standard. Takes much longer before I see a haze though, I've waited as long as an hour in an air conditioned garage. I also remove with spray & gloss.

I had it on for about 6 weeks with 2 coats on top of about 100 other products (am I in the right place or what). The look stayed the entire time. Durability isn't my biggest worry as I can't leave my car alone...but I think you'll get better than average durability for a carnuba - it seems to have a pretty high polymer content...in that regard it reminds me of Pinancle Signature.

thanks for the tips!!!

How do you move back and forth without leaving a residue where you stop? I normally do it either in circles, or like I washing a table--swooshing at the sides so there is no residue.

so, if I understand correctly, there´s not only one way to apply it!!!?!?!?!?!

I get about 5-6 weeks out of mine on a car that is washed weekly. It probably protects beyond 5-6 weeks but I started to see some breakdown in beading and feel at that point. It is relaxing to put it on though, so I often put it on every few weeks.

I get an average of 3-4 months on my vehicles....you have to realize that the more often you wash the more you are rubbing the finish which removes the wax or any LSP product. Another coat or a boost with QD+ or another wax based QD will certainly extend the life for frequent washers. :detective
