I have a 2004 Blue anthracite VW Golf. I took it to the dealer for the 1st and last oil change, forgot to tell them not to wash it, as I do my own service and forgot they normally wash your car for you. When I got it back I saw some light swirl/ cobwebbing, probably from there dirty mitts. I was thinking of trying SSR1 w/ a white polishing pad first and seeing if that remove's the swirls, if not stepping up to SSR2 on a white pad, or should I use an orange pad w/ SSR1 if the white doesn't work(CMA pads)? I wanna try the most minimally abrasive approach to removal. I've learned how to remove large scratches and massive swirls but now I'm trying to learn detail and the finer breakdown of what combo's I should use. Experience welcome.
Also what would you top a dark metallic color off with to make it look extremely wet?
thnx
