Blown 72 Chevelle and a black SRT8 Cherokee *56K* NO WAY

Another stunning piece of work on both the Chevelle and the SRT8 :2thumbs: . The paint work on the Chevelle looks so clear and deep in the after photos and the swirl removal is first class.

Beautiful work! Are you using up your supply of #21 and #26? Liking the Polish choices!

IMO, both products are at the top of their respective food chains. I use them because they provide exceptional looks, above average durability, and great ease of use. I always keep both on hand.

Klync, nope that is the tint guy, but I am *really* close to hiring help. I am going to give it just a bit longer, then I will be looking for someone with *zero* detail experience, but a great attention to detail.

AZ Ferrari Man, sorry I used the EO PRO water-based dressing cut 1:1.

ebpcivicsi- [insert usual :bow here] So the EC/OP mix was enough to do the etching?!? Nice macro pic of same, BTW!

Thanks Accumulator! There was some etching left, but it was removed by the PO106ff.

When I see etching I first reach for the EC, if that doesn't get it, then out with the 3M PI-III EC RC. :nervous2: :D

OK, thanks for explaining. Just wondered as I never did get the etching out of my wife's A8, I chickened out after numerous aggressive passes with the rotary/cutting pad (some of them with that dreaded PI-III EC RC too  ). What's left looks like it oughta come out easily, but no way am I cutting off any more clear.

Heh heh, if you see a silver A8 with OH plates (and water etching) in town this week say hello, it's Accumulatorette :D

I sure will, though I doubt that it will happen. I am going to be "holed up" in the shop for most of the week. :D I am installing a clear bra on a C6 right now and I am just about ready to drive it off a cliff!!! :D

That is some very impressive work !!

When you say 3M PI-III EC RC what is that? I have 3M PIII RC, is that what you are talking about?

Cool, would you say the Zaino system is better or just for a difference target audience. #21 has an amazingly liquidity to it.

To me, "better" is a relative term. Better to who? I think there are subtle differences between Z5PRO and #21, but for my process #21 is the better choice on 90% of cars. It's better for me because it bonds over anything, the looks are about the same, #21provides *almost* the same durability, and requires no mixing or systematic accompanying products. Do I still use Z? Yep, but for most cars in under care #21 is a better fit.

How's that? Clear as mud? :D

Changeling, 3M PI-III extra cut rubbing compound Part#05936.

ebpcivicsi- Heh heh, you're turning into a full-service appearance shop...doing the clear bra stuff. I bet some applications really *are* a royal PIA.

Yeah, AKA "liquid sandpaper". It's not the scariest product 3M makes, but it's as aggressive as I think *I* would ever use. And sure haven't used my (one quart) bottle of it very often, it'll last me forever.

Heh heh, one member here (the MIA Bill D.) got some and ended up using it to polish nasty exhaust systems...he just couldn't imagine using it on his paint :D

Awesome job both cars turned out great. It breaks my heart to see a jeep like that in that condition especially the rims it looks like they hit a few curbs already.

Amazing work on some nice muscle cars. That SRT8 was pretty filthy on the interior! Nice usertitle, I had a 99 Civic Si FBP as my first car when I was 19.....VTEC!!!! lol

Thanks for the Info! :bigups Enjoy installing that Clearbra, makes you realize how much skill is involved & the large reason why people can charge so much! Good thing you have a clean environment to work with.

weird combination of tire widths, they cannot be good in the twisties

Now that's funny.....That car in the twisties would not be a pretty sight......straight line, snap your neck HP/Tq.....god I love it.....what a beautiful machine.

Great job on both.....
