that would be very revealing then..and would say it really doesn't matter with LSP you use according to brand..they all look the same..:think: I would like to see this..:nervous2:
 
I have no doubt this stuff is great, but hmm, super slick and the same bottle as UPP. Im not saying it, but i think alot of the stuff between 5* and AG's house brands are very similar. Not a bad thing, but i remember the oohhhs and ahhhsss of UPP, with poly charger added it may last longer now though.
 
UPP is "wipe on, walk away" isn't it? Blackfire is like Klasse or any oher similar product that you wipe on let haze or dry then wipe off. It is not similar to OS or other similar products.
 
Most like FMJ, but with decent durability. Darkens paint and fills a fair amount. Similar to Z5 and NXT also (to my eyes).

Your thinking of UPGP and not UPP.

IME, BFWD is more slick than UPGP with added gloss. I think there's more depth to its look than 1000P, but the rest is a tossup.
 
I've used several sealants and in my opinion Blackfire is the slickest with the most gloss. That being said I have not had a chance to measure its durability. I have it on two vehicles, a silver van and a Graphite Lexus. Boh look fantastic with BF.

It is very easy to apply and wipe off so it would be great if you didn't need a "winter coat". We will see what the winter brings and know what durability is like after old man winter doles out his crap.
 
I've been practicing with my BWD and I'm really liking it - easy on, easy off. Excellent gloss.



I can't comment on durability yet, however I will say this - the new design is boosted by polycharger. Polycharger definately does wonders for commerical products - regular (unboosted) liquid soverign used to last like 3-4weeks at most. Then I bought their pc'd version and it'd last 3-4mths easily.



Supposedly the 'old' BWD (un-pc'd) would last 3-4mths, so with the pc I'm hoping it's a good 5-6mths as some are claiming.
 
6 weeks after applying BWD I'm still getting comments from non-detailers about how good the car looks. These are the same people that never batted an eyelid when I was using opti-seal, Z5 or AJT - all of which are great products.
 
I just tried out BFWD for the first time and I have to say I'm very pleased with it. This product is really what I wanted NXT to deliver when it first came out. Application and removal are very easy. I used less than an ounce to cover a whole car.



It has that very wet and glossy look, but it doesn't "sit on" the paint like a lot of sealants do. While its very clear and glossy, it doesn't seem to do this with oils like NXT and #21 do. The paint feels very dry and super slick. I think this might be the slickest sealant I have ever used.



I'm real happy with the initial results, I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop, its almost too good for a sealant.

They have changed the formula a little bit. It's lighter in color and a little thicker. They now say it's polycharged, whatever that really means. I liked the last version, too. Products come in and out of favor on this board.
