Blackfire wet diamond

Aurora40 - how does the new Wet Diamond compare to the discontinued MPPP? I had been using that for a while and have moved on to newer things and should have the Blackfire sometime next week to try out.

Well, MPPP is more of a one-step than Blackfire. It is probably a bit easier to use as well. It looks nice, but isn't overly slick, nor overly beady. I like MPPP. It's a nice product. But I hardly ever use it.

If you want something newer in the vein of MPPP, you might try #21 out. It isn't a cleaner/wax but has some mild cleaning ability. It's a great wax for just washing then waxing a car. It is very easy to use, is slick, and beads well.

Blackfire is a different category of wax than MPPP. But it's a great product and you'll probably like it as long as you like how it is used. I usually QD my cars after washing before using products like Blackfire, Zaino, Klasse SG, or most carnauba paste waxes. They generally have no apparent cleaning ability, so if there are any errant water spots, etc, they will simply get entombed by the sealant/wax. A product like MPPP would simply remove them instead.

Hope that helps.
