Time 2 shine

I have had a chance to use the Blackfire Long Lasting Tire Gel a few times now so here's my review.
Printed on the back of the bottle.
The tire gel is a water-based solvent free formula that contains UV inhibitors to prevent fading and cracking. Feels dry to the touch and does not sling. The first coat provides a natural rubber finish. Second coat provides a high gloss finish. Thick gel formula.
Directions: Apply to clean tires. Apply a thin strip of Total eclipse tire gel onto a tire applicator and work into tire. Remove any excess with a microfiber towel. If you desire additional gloss, apply and second coat five minutes after first.
Tools used:
Megs apc 3:1
Tuf shine tire brush
yellow foam applicator
Blackfire Long Lasting Tire Gel
Microfiber towel
Megs APC 3:1 was sprayed on the tire and agitated with a Tuf shine tire brush until clean and removed of all dirt and old tire dressing. Repeat this step if necessary. You will know if all previous dressings have been removed when water holds to the tire and does not bead off. Next i wiped remaining water off of the tire with a microfiber towels starting with the first tire I cleaned. Then I applied an amply amount of tire gel (which in my opinion smells like bubble gum) to a yellow foam applicator and then spread through out the pad with my finger giving me a nice even coat as i applied to the tire. Here is a picture to compare the difference between a treated and untreated part of the tire.
Now that's just one coat. After about 5 minutes it does lose a little gloss giving the tire more of a new tire look, which i prefer. If you like more gloss apply a second coat. If applying a second coat you will not need as much product as your applicator pad should be saturated. I would also like to add that these tires im using for this review are 4 years old and have found the result will vary from tire to tire. (example: old/new, brand of tire, ext.) One thing that real impressed me was with the follow up cleaning of the tires weeks later. I noticed that the tires even though looked dirty were much easier to clean as most was just surface grime that came off with regular car wash soap and a soft bristle brush. (No need for APC and that stiff tire brush). All in all the Blackfire Long Lasting Tire Gel was easy to use and did its job well. At $19.99 for a 16oz bottle which will last a very long time (I've used a lot and barley put a dent in the bottle) makes this a great buy that i recommend.
