Blackfire purchasing question

I was just browsing through the threads on blackfire.



I saw it had some pretty good reviews so I wanted to get myself some of it. I found a web site that sells it but I don't know if its the new formula or the old one. Does the revision say its a new formula on the bottle?

But after having just put it on 2 vehicles for the winter and having been very impressed with the results, I would have to say that the old one performs well.
 
I placed an order for the blackfire new car kit online last night.



I called them this morning to find out which version they were shipping out now. The person I got on the phone was very helpful in explaining some more about the product as well as assuring me that the new revision was being sent out to me.

He actually said they threw out the old stuff.



He said he applied it to 10 cars already and he says its great stuff. He just reminded me to use it very sparingly as "a little does go a long way".



He also said that I may not see a haze form. Is this true? He said that it evaporates very well and all you would do is just give it a quick buff and I would be done.



Any thoughts?

CMA produces this product. Listen to what the person at CMA states and you should be in good standings.

Obviously the appearance and amount of haze is dependent on the color of the car/truck and the amount applied. He is stating that if you see a very visible haze that you are probably apply too much product. The original formula produced a visible haze on my black cars even when applied thinly but very little residual dust ( similiar to Zaino). This haze was no where near the amount one would get if applying a drying carnuaba ( i.e Meg Gold or Mothers)

Sealants are a completely different ballgame when it comes to applying to surface. Very,Very thin is GOOD. Only the microscopic film that is actually contacting the surface ( paint or prior layers) is bonding. The remainder is just waste.:wavey
