BLACKFIRE Midnight Sun Paste Wax REVIEW

I revived the paint on a 2006 Honda Element using the Blackfire SRC Compound in my last thread, BLACKFIRE SRC Compound VS Black Oxidized Paint, and now the Blackfire Midnight Sun Ivory Carnauba Paste Wax is ready for application to protect the paint from the elements.

I used the Rupes LHR 75E Mini Random Orbital Polisher to wax the whole car.

A thin layer of Blackfire Midnight Sun Ivory Carnauba Paste Wax was put on the car. The Rupes LHR 75E Mini Random Orbital Polisher made the application quick and easy. If you are familiar with the Honda Element it has a lot of plastic trim pieces, this wax will not harm the plastic, but it is just easier to avoid the plastic, it will save time in final cleaning of the car.

A little goes a long way with this wax.

The Blackfire Carnauba Wax comes off very easily with a microfiber towel, and leaves the car protected from all the elements. This stuff also lasts for a long time. I live in Florida and the sun is very brutal, and it has also rained for the majority of the week and the water still beads as if I just put the wax on. Great product!

Angus, try it. I used mine on my neighbor's car on sat & wow! 2 coats by hand & how wet it looked. Great job on the Honda Jesse. Looks awesome.

Great job, excellent shine !

I just did a Slate Gray Tahoe and did 1/2 the hood with BF Midnight Sun, the other half with Megs Gold Class Carnauba plus and can't tell the difference in gloss. (Both were applied over Black Fire Wet Diamond which is great stuff). Perhaps it has to do with the color of my paint, but I was hoping for the "whiplash" and didn't see it.

First of all, welcome to AutopiaForums! Try doing the entire SUV to compare how it looks. It's harder to see in smaller sections like half a hood. Especially on a horizontal panel like a hood. When I test products I just do my entire car or motorcycle and I like to inspect it in different lights. I'm a sucker for the fluorescent bulbs at the gas station at night lol. Lighter colors are tougher though of course, so be sure to properly prep the surface for maximum effect.

May I ask what pad did u use to apply the BFMS wax?

I used a Rupes 100 mm (4 inch) White Finishing Foam Pad, it works really good, water is still beading like I just put the wax on.

If I could only have and use one wax for the rest of my life, BFMS would be that wax. It is just the best.

Very nice Jesse. That black really looks wet. Of all the waxes I have used this is still the easiest non and off. Great wax
