Blackfire & Megs #9

Hello

I have just applied (to a couple of sections ) the Blackfire polish and paint protection to a relatively new car ('03 Acura TL) and am very pleased with the results.

I'm just wondering if using Megs. #9 (after washing and claying) in advance of the Blackfire system is a good approach on an older car (in great shape) with minor swirl marks.

The car is a light blue Volvo 850 GLT. Is Blackfire a good solution for lighter cars? - I would like to stick with a sealant for the protection but need to reduce the swirls.

Thanks

ragman- I like BF on light colored cars; I use it on my silver S8. I think it would look great on your 850. By all means go after the swirls first. Using a SMR like #9 (version 2.0) without fillers should work fine. If you are worried about something affecting the bonding of the BF, you can always Dawn wash before applying the BF, but I doubt it'll be a problem. I plan on applying BF over glazes, and if the BF'll stick to them it'll stick to most anything (except carnauba).
