Blackfire ivory carnuaba wax

Hi,

I was wondering what the drawbacks were using the Klasse system without any other wax? How long does Klasse usually last? Last time I did it, I swear I lost the gloss after the first wash.

Thanks,

Spiro

There are no drawbacks to using Klasse without Blitz. I would say that Klasse should last at least 4 months, it could be longer depending on how you maintain it.

Wash weekly. Get any bird bombs, tree sap, water spots etc off ASAP. Also use of an acrylic QD will help maintain the Klasse.

Are you sure you weren't using Blackfire? haha, just kidding. :D

What kind of car wash did you use? Was your paint in perfect or near perfect condition when applying the Klasse? Were all oils and other products removed from your car before application?

My paint is in great condition. Brand new car. I clayed the car, and then applied 1 coat of AIO, and 1 coat of SG. Then I also applied Blitz to it.

spiroh- I have never used Blitz over top of Klasse and my paint looks great I like how it make the paint really shiny, I occasionally use a carnauba based QD to make the paint of some depth.

THere are no protection downsides. However, Klasse looks better on certain colors. Klasse tends to give a slight darker shine. It lacks alot of depth though. Adding a wax topper is totally just a preference thing. On dark colors you'll notice a difference, but on lighter color cars it's alittle bit more difficult to see the difference.

Dude, if you like to wax, just wax it. But if you're more minded for protection, then skip the wax, and just keep applying ksg and you'll be good

I have a black car. Actually I just want the look and protection. I just dont want to do an extra step if Klasse is all I need.

if you're not to picky on the way your car looks, klasse will do just fine. klasse will look real good by itself, but some of us here like to go that extra step.

One thing to also take into consideration, Klasse looks better with multiple coats (SG) and it lasts longer with multiple coats too.

Depends on the condition of your paint, the worse the condition the more AIO can make a difference. On a new car, it's makes for good prep for the SG. On a not so new car it cleanses and polishes and looks better the more you do it.

If you're using Klasse SG, don't settle for anything less than 3 coats. It took 3 coats before I was awed by the product. Laters

I just got my order of Blackfire ivory carnuaba wax yesterday(that makes the set complete) and have a couple of questions. Can I layer it , how many layers max and what is it's durability? I have a 2010 F150 Lariat candy apple red metallic and I put on the BF gloss enhancing polish and WD sealant last weekend with my new PC 7424XP and the truck looks great. I hope to take it to a new level with the BFIC. Any help would be appreciated.
