Thanks for your thoughts. This product is way overlooked. It will clean up and help extend most clay. At the price of clay today, anything that can "stretch" it is welcome.

I used it again today when I clayed. I really like how it makes the clay feel when I'm cleaning it in my hand. A lot of the dirt slides right off! Makes the claybar feel fresh. Once again, great product!!!

I wouldn't feel comfortable about using it bacause you can't get all the contaminates out of the claybar,you might get the surface dirt out by making it look cleaner but deep down you still have particales in the clay that will hurt the paint.

This is true, the Clay Bar Cleaner and Extender will not remove embedded contaminates from clay and the clay will still become loaded to the point that it should be replaced to prevent scratching the paint. But like the name suggests it will extend the life of the clay and keep it clean, however the clay will still need to be replaced; just at a much longer interval.

The problem is that we normally fold clay onto itself and all of the dirt is folded into the clay. It will load with dirt quickly, particularly if it is being used on a particularly dirty car.

So it will not extend the life of the clay bar to infinity, but it will extend the life past more then enough to offset the cost of the product many times over.
