Blackfire aerosol wax

I'm pleasantly surprised by Blackfire aerosol wax. This came as part of tar removal kit PAC sells. It's a cleaner-wax for dealing with what life throws at one's car. I honestly didn't expect much but am pleased with the carnauba shine this product produces. What I'd like to know concerns the cleaner aspect of the wax. Is it a physical polish or chemical cleaner? Will it remove a base LSP? The aerosol is kind've cool, BTW.

I didn't know that product existed.

Sometimes I do a quick detail for a customer... vacuum interior, wash/spray wax.

That might be worth a try!

Yes this is a GREAT and underated product...

It is NOT a cleaner/wax in the typical description, and personally I don't like the wording as such. There is ZERO dedicated chemical cleaners or abrasive grain in the product. The reason it is labeled as a cleaner/wax is because it can be used as a quick detail spray to clean dust, finger smudges, and bird droppings on the paint. So to answer your question, no the spray wax will not remove existing LSPs.

As far as being surprised, I am not shocked. The truth (devoid of myth, dubious marketing, and hyperbole) is that Blackfire Ivory Carnauba Spray Wax features some of the highest percentage (by wet volume) carnauba on the market, and only a couple percent less then our Midnight Sun Carnauba Paste. I will post a picture of a black F430 Ferrari I used this on, and both the owner and I commented on the dripping shine it created.

It is second most underrated Blackfire product, next to the Interior Cleaner.

I concur on the Interior Cleaner, I used it for the first time this weekend and man, it's perfect. It's not too shiny, it's just perfect.

Thankyou. The F430, what a dreamy car! Whenever I read about that car, all I can see in my head is Jeremy Clarkson's Top Gear review of it.

The interior cleaner is useful stuff. Heck, I clean my computer keyboard with it. ^_^

This was one of the first products I purchased from PAC waaay back. It is still my "go-to" for post-wash maintenance. IMO it is better than other quick detail products because it actually puts a coat of wax on the finish, thereby extending the durability/shine of whatever product you have existing underneath it. And it really is a wet caranuba shine. It can make the vehicle look fully detailed in just a few minutes. The aerosol makes it super easy to use and as a bonus it smells awesome!

I would recommend everyone get a can in their next order and let this secret out!

So can you use the spray wax after BFWD and then re-apply BDWD? Or maybe you cannot because it is a (spray) wax and you cannot apply BDWD over wax????????

Angelo
Would really like to know if you can use aerosol wax after BFWD and then use BFWD again over the spray wax. Thanks!

Angelo had a car to do this morning I beleive. Try to send him a PM as it may take a bit longer for him to respond to this particular thread :)

So Firebird, how was Hooters last night. I just love the atmosphere of that place. Everytime my wife takes me there I leave with a neck ache :o
