Black TA - 600 rwhp

Yeah, GM black sucks. I've been thinking about a rotary just for my once-a-year post-winter April cleanup. It takes forever with the PC. My buddy's Honda (black Prelude) takes half the time.

Nice cleanup, Zane. What's his asking price, out of curiosity?

Nice, looks good to me man. I agree with the comments about GM clear being a bear. I do NOT have the patience to polish every last little mark out with my PC. I need to try my hand at a rotary.

nice work, can't see the swirls you're talking about though. man, gotta love those t/a's. might even consider getting rid of my z28 for one of those in a black t-top.

I would also like to see where you see the swirls? Sure ZaneO said things didn't come out to his liking, but unless he shows us a picture of swirls, I'll let the pictures do the talking as they look amazing. Show me the swirls you still see and I'll shut my mouth.

By the way ZaneO that car looks excellent. With the amount of steps you did the car looks fantastic, cant wait till this customer gets his hands on the C5 he's looking for so you can post more pictures of your detailing skills :2thumbs: Keep up the good work!

I was looking at the pictures at work. Monitors on those computers are poor to say the least. Looking at it on my monitor at home, there aren't any swirls. Maybe its just my eyes, but it does indeed look the like the typical GM black haze that you can only see at certain angles.

(I'm not saying its a bad job, I was only asking a question).

There are still some swirls in the paint. Time is a bad factor when it comes to detailing. :sadpace:

What a stupid comment! There is no way to tell if there are swirls still left by these pics.

Zane, Great Job! everything looks very satisfactory & I undertsand you weren't totaly pleased with it.
