This thing took 7 hours! Looked great at the end though... Ended up giving my phone number to four people as a result hehe. Unfortunately by the time I finished the sun was almost down so the photos don't do it justice.

Wash - Clay - AIO - SG

Question: To save time, do you have to dry after a wash if you intend on claying?

Thoughts? I'm thinking about switching to Zfx/Z5pro for ease of use and filling properties. Anyone know when ZAIO/ZCS come out? I may as well buy them all together.

I will take a waffle weave and give it a quick once over to get any water off. I dont' try to dry it though. Just get the majority of the water off. Then use your QD/Clay lube and start claying!

Wow car looks great, good job on your first detail!

did have any snags during the process?

How many miles on the truck?

Don't know how many miles... its a year old, but was filthy. Closest thing to a snag was claying... I think it took more the two hours to clay the thing! I guess I needed a more abrasive clay because I had to go over spots multiple times and there was still a bit of sediment that just wouldnt come off

Props on your first detail, it turned out great! That Rover looks absolutely dripping wet!

I envy you with the shorts, short sleeves and sandals combo in the middle of January

Thats absolutely correct... lol are you my neighbor?

Nope. My grandparents lived on S. Palm from around 1930 to 1990. My mom was born and raised on that street. I grew up in the area and was there all the time. awesome street and great location!!!!

Since you were going to apply AIO, I wouldn't worry about drying before claying. If you weren't going to clean the paint, I would heavily consider it to minimize water spotting.

Why switch to Zaino? Klasse seems to have great results for you!

Awesome!

People knock the Klasse twins, but it's the standard others are judged against..and this shows why!

I like how the Rovers don't have too much orange peel...Ford and Range Rover seem to do a much better job controlling orange peel than do most other companies.

Nice work.

Awesome job. I love those things. Got the chance to drive an HSE a few weeks ago and was almost in heaven. I cant even imagine how the supercharged version would be...
