Black paint - What's your fav combo?

I've been using Klasse AIO then Klasse SG. I love it.



Wash and 1 coat of KSG (This was before Autopia so forgive the dirty windshield and undressed tires)

After 3 coats of KSG and 2 months of just washing following with Meguairs QD

I'm either going to use my friend's PC to polish or save and have Dave Fermani detail my car properly. One thing hate about my car is the amount of orange peel in the paint. It would be a pain in the neck for me to get it all out or really expensive to pay someone to get it out. Might have to live with it for now.
 
Full swirl remover (whatever polish works best for you) followed by Clearkote's Pink (50/50 Vanilla Moose/Red Machine Glaze) topped with either Carnauba Moose or Pinnacle Souveran. I've tried sealants on black paint but I really don't like the somewhat glassy look (like the clear coat is thicker) and always go back to carnaubas.

Wow, looks great! I have to first find a polish for minor paint correction, but I think I'll try the Clearkote path. I have yet to witness a "wet" look with my paint because of my use of sealants. It tends to look more like a mirror.

You'll be happy wit CMW, it's a great carnauba...it gives a really nice wet look...I find it also darkens the paint a bit too.

I finish everything black with Ultrafina now. All the steps prior to that are based upon clearcoat hardness, but I am a big fan of Megs #83.



Here is my Integra Type R. Polished with Megs #83 and Ultrafina and finished with Vintage.

I just put OS over well cured Souveran on my car and it definitely amped up with wetness without losing the depth.
 
Polish with M105 and 3M Ultrafina on a rotary.



If you have Z5pro, Z2pro, ZFX and Z8 try this:



80% Z5pro

20% Z2pro

.5-1 oz total

3-5 drops of ZFX

2 sprays of Z8



Shake!



Apply 3 coats to your polished black paint:

My fave on our three black vehicles: correction, then Blackfire Gloss Enhancing Polish followed by DG PBA, DG 105 x 2 and maintain w/ DG AW.

I think you will be really pleased. Even though I also have Pinnacle Souveran, I use CMW more because it is more durable and deepens the color more...although the shimmer you get from Souveran is really nice as well.
 
I'm ordering some vanilla moose, rmg, and the liquid cmw. Should I use some type of AIO sealant after polishing and prior to appyling the glaze/carnauba?
