black Mini Cooper S final 2005 detail(prob)

hi all, final detail yesterday what do you think??

this was all by hand as i am just an amatuer enthusiast,some pics were last night and some today after commuting)(also sorry about the quality...the sunset ones were taken by phone due to camera eating itself) :think:

The car looks great, but the photos are..not that good

yeah took three camera including one on a phone to get those...didnt have much luck

started off with Meguiars dc1

then two passes by hand of 1z waxpolish soft

followed by two passes of p21s carnauba applied directly with the palm of my hand.

then AG bumpercare on all the rubber plastic and tyres followed by a spray on silicone sealer.

muc off for the alloys and AG glass polish for the rest. all done by hand

i do keep trying to get a camera but something more interesting usually comes up and takes the money instead

They are really cool looking little cars, and with the S package & a limited slip, they have got to be a blast to drive, with the steering wheel on the correct (left) side of the car that is :chuckle:



BTW: I've seen one that was taken (not on purpose) off-roading and it held up incredibly well for the intensity of the crash...the passenger compartment was intact despite the outerbody being torn to shreds.
