Well this is my girlfriends dads Navigator that has been washed once in the last year and is pretty nasty. The good thing is that it's probably only been to the swirl-o-matic less than 25-30 times (unlike the rest of their cars
). Big party so I made it look good. Wheels wells weren't dressed until I dropped the car off onsite (I keep some detailing supplies there as well). First time rotary usage and it wasn't bad at all. My rotary of choice was the Hitachi SP18VA.
Process:
Wash with Chemical Guys Maxi Suds
Clay with Clay Magic
SSR 2.5 at 1400 RPM via LC Orange
Pro-Polish at 1600 RPM via LC White
Butter Wet Wax Speed 3 via LC Grey
Tires and trim dressed with VRT
Wheel wells dressed with No Touch (don't hear anything about them on here)
Pictures: Sorry no full before shots or many before shots but this it was oxidized and had pretty good swirls/marring.
