:wow: amazing. What did you use to get rid of the scratches on the wood console around the shifter?

Haha, actually I didn't have anything, so I take off around the wood and used my buffer, took like 2 seconds! haha, do what you gotta do! :xyxthumbs

WOW!!!! did you used 3M SunGun?

Whats that and what's it do?

Awesome Job! :waxing: My wife has that same car and it is amazing how soft the paint is. You can blow on it and it scratches. I used some Menzerna Powergloss compound on hers and it came out amazing. I just got some SIP in to so can't wait to try that.

Car looks great, actually awesome. That's how it should be. Usually Lexus dealers have good detailers (at least in my area they're cars are pretty swirl free). ::shrugs:: more work for you :)!

Nice job but looking at the pictures I think the poor dealer is getting blamed for some very blatant abuse. The overall condition of the car was a disgrace and it didn't get like that with one trip to any dealer.

You've given them back a super looking vehicle but my guess is in 6 months it will look like your befores.

imo most (not all, i know there are people who have them and take care of them very well) people who have black cars are people that dont care about the condition of their paint or who dont take care of their cars (let others take care of it for them) because all of us on here know what a pain black is to keep looking perfect :).

Wow, talk about a stereotype. The sad truth of the matter is that most people *in general* don't take care of their cars like they should, not just people who own black cars which happen to show it the most.

Unlike most, I actually like detailing black the most because you can see what you are working with. I hate white and silver because I have to strain so hard to see what I'm doing.

By the way, my last four vehicles were black. ;)

Great turnaround! I love this shot:

Bump :)

Question: You said it was ~90% correction, but it looks more like 98% correction to me... I know this was 2 years ago but do you remember what was left over?

nice work man. how is the paint on lexus's? I did a Jeep Wrangler today that was black. Tried to clean it up as that's all the owner wanted and Orange/SIP did nothing for the water spot etchings like this Lexus had on the trunk.

Very Very Nice Work! It's like they never ever washed the car.

Awesome work and not a bad shack behind the car either. The pic of your reflection sitting down is some awesome photojournalism.
