This is my 2000 Integra GSR that I detailed this past weekend. This is my first work with the PC7336 and I used the pad that came with it (I know, I know) Process is below



Wash/Dry (2 bucket)

Clayed with Megs Clay Bar

taped off car

SFX-2 by PC @ Spd 5

SFX-3 by PC @ Spd 5

Megs M21 by PC @ Spd 3

Removed M21 by hand w/ Megs Microfiber



Wheels got clayed and M21



No before pictures since it wasn't too bad (at least I thought so until I saw the end results)

Thanks. I'll try to get some full sun pictures of the pearl on my lunch break afterwhile. I find it kind of hard to capture it with a camera though.
 
I've been waiting for these pictures!! Thank you for posting them!! #21 looks great :)



The last time I polished my car was about 2 months ago, after using #21 it either covers up my marring or the sun is reflecting back so bright you can't see it :chuckle: Either way Im happy with the results and it looks like you are too! Keep us posted on the durability and how it looks after a couple of washes. So far the look hasn't died down for me. Still looks dripping wet. Again, great job!
 
The paint looks perfect!



Food for thought:

With a perfect finish, my eye is drawn to the tires and although they're clean, they need some kinda dressing. I'm not all that fond of the wet look, but a satin finish there would be awesome.



(On my frost white ride, with excellent finish, the eye is drawn to the black trim and if it's not outstanding, it sticks out like a sore thumb.)
 
Yeah, I saw that same thing when uploading the pictures. I usually keep them dressed with the dupont "teflon" tire wet because it makes them look clean but not high gloss. Unfortunately that stuff only lasts a couple of days. I need to do some research on a better tire wet.

I hear ya, I have the same problem. At least you can see some of it. :)

A tip for capturing the pearl - try aiming the camera on a piece of trim or the window frame, this way the camera has something to focus on. Then while keeping the shutter half pressed (focus lock), tilt the camera back up to the reflection of the sun, and take the picture.
