I think any rinseless car wash system can be lethal for anybody without previous experiences using these products. If used incorrectly they can damage the paint. Bugs are definitely the major issue that everybody has to deal with. Keeping the wax fresh on the frontal areas of the vehicle will aid in removing bugs and other crud from the front end. Like many have mentioned already, a traditional car wash technique (good car wash soap, clean/quality wash materials, and lots of lubrication would be the safest way to remove buggies from the front end). I find a chemical cleaner such as klasse all in one and optimum poliseal to be good at removing remaing bug residue after the actual bug has been removed.
