A friend of mine bought this used from a dealer. It had 30k miles on it. The paint was in decent shape but could've used more depth. Paint also had a few 'touch up jobs' done to it by the dealer maybe. Had to sand those down and polish them out. All my friend really wanted was a solid protective coat of AIO for the winter. But I decided to treat him to a full exterior detail. After washing, the paint appeared very clean. But it turned my blue magic clay to tan with just the small area of half the roof. Probably the most contamination in any paint I have ever seen...weird. Sorry for the lack of sunlight in the pics...I had to do this one late in the evening.

-wash (sonus shampoo)

-clayed (blue magic)

-polish (sonus yellow pad using Menzerna and PC)

-AIO

-Natty's blue

Also, visited a friend in Kailua HI in August and she just purchased a new xterra. Had 1800 miles on it so the paint was in great shape....that is until she let us drive it the entire time we were there. After getting it all dirty, I drove to Checkers(Kragen) and purchased some products to do her ride up. Probably would've been cheaper to have shipped mine from CA then to buy them in HI $$$$$. :sadpace: Wasn't going to take any pics until I saw the red clouds in the reflection on the hood! Focus isn't really that good though.

-wash

-clayed (mothers clay)

-wax(mothers carnauba)

Hahaha...thank you. He had been talking about getting one for so long that by the time he finally got it I was so excited that I went crazy! :chuckle:

Final Polish or Intensive Polish? I'm always kind of amazed people go straight to Intensive Polish, but you can't argue with the results. Looks great!

thank you! I used FPII. It was my first time using menzerna. And I was very pleased with the results. It also worked real well on the headlights. Sometimes the infinity's headlights get cloudy. I may try IP in the future as well.
