Anyone know where to pic up a Makita rotary for a good deal Mine recently got stolen and now I need to replace it... I just love these "welcome to the neighborhood" type of things..

I have a broken one you can have for $30 shipped. I'm pretty sure it just needs the speed control fixed because sometimes it works and sometimes you only get the highest speed. Comes with the tool bag too.

I have one that I might be selling. I've used it for like 10 hours. Let me know.

Still waiting to find out what's going to happen. The guy I'm training with that owns the company tells me he's going to either get mine back (it was one of his workers that walked off with it and quit) or reimburse me. Should be tomorrow I hear something one way or the other. DJ has a good deal on them. I'm finding kits on ebay right now for about $130. but I don't know if they are refurb's or not. Paid just shy of $300 for that one after taxes and such... But I've gotten way to used to using it to let it go and not replace it.

He thought the rotary was worth more than the job? I'm asking that seriously, did he steal it, knowing he would get fired for it, and so he quit?

as for that pressure washer . . . . . . Craftsman makes good stuff and they usually have a great warranty. I had a electric PW like that one but it was a Karcher and that thing sucked.

I purchased 3 of them (not all at once) and none of them worked at all. Hooked it up didn't work, took it back. Did that 3 times before i just went with a gas one but i'm thinking of trying out for a electric one again just for the foam lance.

I have always used Karchers and still do. But I think I know what you are talking about. I had one sit out one night and it froze up. BAd News!! The expansion of water busted out all of the seals. So I bought two new ones. They didn't work until I used my old wand with them. They work great now and I use them everyday. But I had to use the old wand.

That's honestly the way it looks. His check was only going to be about $120 tops. So yea the rotary was worth more... I go in there in a couple of hours. We'll see how it all played out.

Anyone know what the hours are going to be for Home Depot? I work nights so I have no issues staying awake all hours of the night.

i believe the store opens at 6am and closes at normal time or an hour or two later...

At lowes for Black Friday they have the Warner Aluminun Platform. At $22.00 it is great for reaching the roof of SUV's etc. I plan on picking one up on friday.

Well I had to toss a couple of elbows and some old lady literally ran over my wife's ankle in a mad dash but I got my shop vac for $20 LOL... Wow what a mad house that was!!

GOT MINE! they were all gone within about 5 min, I too got trampled, but I stood with a BIG smile on my face being the most sarcastic *** I could to people that cut in from of me or others, I took one from a guy that was behind me as the home depot employee was handing to him. I grabbed it and told him I was here first, then I turned around handed to the guy that was trying to jump me and told him, now was that so hard to wait your turn, have a nice day. Then I got mine and left. After that I headed to target , not to buy JUST to see the disaster! WOW im so glad I didn't need something.

Nice deal on the Ridgid but 16 gallon is too big. I need another 4050 since mine died and I can't find the *&%$ receipt so I can return it.

I got two, then stopped at lowes and got the shopvac that they had for sale with the micro tools. Got a sweet deal on some dewalt and ryobi tools too...

Picked up 2 portable battery jumpstarters at pepboys for $12 each!

Scottwax is you bought it from HD just bring it in without a receipt. If i recall right Rigid is lifetime warranty.

Scott - Call Rigid directly. I had one die on me two summers ago and they sent me a new one and then I had to send the faulty unit back to them.
