ShineTech Auto Detail
Well I finally had a chance to do my brothers mother in Laws car. She had been hesitant because being that her car is black she thought I was going to leave nasty swirls with the PC. Her car was in pretty bad shape. She works in an industrial area where the train tracks run very near to her building. You know what that means. Here was my process:
Exterior
1. Used PW to remove any loose dirt
2. Washed with NXT
3. Clayed. Went over it twice
4. Poorboy's Spray N Rinse on the wheels
5. Poorboy's 2.5 SSR
6. Klasse All in one polish
7. Natty's Blue wax
8. Tires: Poorboy's Bold N Brite
9. Trim with Poorboy's Trim Restorer
Engine
1. Meguiars Safe D-greaser
2. Meguiars Hyper Dressing 4:1 for a satin look
Interior
1. Folex & some elbow grease.
2. Panels with Meguiars APC 4:1
3. Poorboys Natural look dressing

She was so excited to get her car all polished up. She couldn't believe it which is what is rewarding I'm sure to all of you as well. All in all it took 6 hrs to do. Is that too long??? Well, let me know what you guys think & if there is anything I should have done different.

WOW!! That engine is perfect!! Great job all around. 6 hours? Umm, that would take me like 12. Not really, but 6 hours is great for all that. Could you explain your engine detail process? Thanks.

Thanks everyone for the comments. I feel much better hearing that 6 hrs is great for all that.
Well this is the first time I use Meguiar's Degreaser. I diluted at 4:1. I normally use Greased Lightning which works awesome too. The Meguiars seems to not be as harsh + doesn't leave any white stains. I sprayed the engine thoroughly & let the Degreaser sit a bit & I followed with the PW standing back a few feet. I used an old toothbrush to scrub the stubborn areas which wasn't difficult to remove. I let the engine air dry & I sprayed Meguiars Hyper dressing diluted at 4:1 for the satin look. That stuff is great.
