Good heavens, what a great job!

Seems like more and more of us are *not* always removing the compound after initial rotary work.

Thanks!!

I did it mostly in the interest of time, but it seemed to work well. I was careful to make sure that the compound had broken down fully before moving. My thinking was that if anything was NOT brken down, it could mar upon removal. Not sure if theat even mattered since I was chasing it with the polish, which was removed section by section.????

Your work continually impresses me. I think you're a top notch detailer.

Thanks man, I apprecite that!!

Thanks you to everyone else!!

Mitchubishievo, I started at about 6:00 a.m. (that's why the first pics are in the dark) and ended around 3:30 p.m. I did break for lunch and for about 30 minutes to feed my son. It was a full day though. Thank god I was able to do the detail at home!!!

Wow, Im about at a loss for words. So was it all doen by rotary, or did you compound with rotary and polish with PC?

RPMs=Rotary, so he compounded and polished with the rotary, and then again polished with a Cyclo.

I have never seen anything from you but top notch work, but those engine pictures are unbelievable!!!

BTW, do you use your pressure washer to wash cars?

Looks great! You've given the owner a "fresh start" on the car. I wonder if they'll be the type that won't touch anything for a while for fear of dirtying it! :D

Thanks!! Yep, I have an electric husky 1400 psi PW that I received as a christmas gift last year. It is VERY small and has worked out really well for my needs. I am spoiled now. :)

Mitchubishievo, exactly the process I used, thanks. I was thinking with all of the stops that my time was a little slow. :) I usually do not take breaks, but I was at home and sort of took my time, it was nice.

Thank you to everyone for the kind words!!!

I too left it on in the interest of time, this was when doing the rent-a-Suburban. I worried about the residue micromarring, but I chased it with the same compound only using the Cyclo. Maybe the lubrication from the chase product is sufficient to preclude problems :nixweiss Don't think I'll try it on my good cars though ;)

Wow, great work Joe.

Almost makes me not want to post my work from over the weekend. I don't think the B&A's will compare!

Glad you liked the HD. I thought you weren't buying any more products though!

Very nice work, do you ever have any problems when you power wash the engines? I've heard horror stories. Anyway very impressive. Hope you got Paid$$$.

No problems at all, knock wood. I use common sense and cover up anything electrical.

I always try to make sure that I am fairly compensated for my labor. :D

Wow what a transformation, you do great work  :D

Those B&A of the engine bay are unreal, I've never see such a great transformation, not to mention everything else looks great. Nice job on the detail and the way you document it with pictures. :xyxthumbs
