Basically I am using the twisted wool with a heavy compound to "slice" away or level the clear, then using the finer polishes/pads to "finesse" the finish back to an exceptable level of gloss.

I, too, question the speed with Hi-Temp Extreme Cut. I've never needed to go above 1750 or so. Just wondering what advantages you see. Have you ordered the Powergloss yet?
