Black Avalanche + Nattys

Pull Over!
I was lucky enough to detail an abused black Avalanche. I should have taken some before pics, but I was excited to hurry and get on it.

The hood was the worst part, it's parked under trees all day long and it was loaded with tree sap, swirls, bugs, water spots, you name it. It's also never been washed since it was purchased last year. It was rough and I forgot to bring my clay bar so I decided to do my best anyway.

It decided to throw some vinager on the hood to see if I could loosen some of the crud off, then went ahead and did a conventional wash. It worked real well. Then I went ahead and used Turtle wax Bug and Tar remover on the front end and it worked excellent (yes turtle wax!)

I used a Meg's polishing pad and worked with DACP, then followed with SSR1 on the hood and rest of the vehicle.

I was going to add a coat of EX-P before I added Natty's, but I was real pressed for time so I just threw on a coat of Nattys wax and this black beauty looked better than new.

Looks great! Natty's is a very high quality wax, and a great value!

That's really excellent. Looks beautiful!! The owner must have been very, very pleased with your work. It does look like new. And good pics too. I love the hood shot especially.

It's not real deep, it has a nice glow and a lot of reflectivity with it being black and covered in natty's.
