Just got a bottle of BlackJack Black Again trim detailer. This stuff seems to work really good on restoring black trim. It supposedly works on any color plastic trim or flat paint but I only have cars with black plastic trim/flat black paint.
My 98 integra trim seemed to improve a little with the product and it has been through about 4 rain storms and it's still going strong.
The 97 Forerunner is left out in the sun and it's trim was shot to hell. I did the roof rack, window/door trim and it seemed to restore it to a nice glossy black. It worked really well on the side-runners too but I globbed on a lot of product for them.
I've also used the product on a 93 legend's mud-guards and bottom skirts(there really isn't anywhere else on it for me to use it) and it restored it to new condition. I just detailed this car last week so it may take more time to test the longevity.
So far this product seems to work great. It must also penetrate the rubber/plastic really well since it got through my latex gloves and on my fingers within minutes. I just hope it's not on the VOC list.
