Here is a friends 65 Mustang, I did a full detail on it about 6 weeks ago (DACP, SFP, UPP, S100) and wanted a touch up before a show this weekend.

I used VM for some light swirls and topped it with CMW......this is one of my favorite combos on black.

Here is the results:

One of my all time favs, a 65 Mustang fastback with the HiPo motor, and it's black on top of that. Nice job on the shine, I like VM and CMW also.

Wow! Amazing detail and a beautiful car! I gotta agree on the VM/CMW appearance on black. Looks great and super easy to do. As much as I like VM by hand, I love it even more with a PC.

Looks like a real high end repaint on that car.

blkyukon,

That Mustang looks SWEET !!! :bow :bow :bow

Wet, Deep, Liquid and Reflective! What a classic shine on a classic car!

Keep up the great work :xyxthumbs

Cheers,

Thanks everyone, I'm not a big Mustang fan but this is a really sweet car and has made me think twice.

Another combo on black, that I think works just as well, is PwC and CMW.

Actually when I first saw it, the paint was in good condition, not great though.

The paint had some rotary holograms, swirls, water spots and some weird clouding in sections of the paint. Here are some shots of it before I detailed it the first time:

Here are the rotary swirls and halograms:

Here is the best shot I could get of the cloudy paint, this was all over the roof and sections of the sides:

How often do put additional coats of CMW on?

I usually reapply every 2-3 months
