Black 2010 BMW 135i, 2-step correction and Opti-Guard application

My first detail on the new lift!

This car was recently purchased used by a good friend of mine. It was in pretty good shape overall but he wanted to get it looking like new again and well protected for the harsh MN weather.

Process:

Wash - Foamed with OPC/CGCW followed by 2BM wash and CGCW
Wheels - P21S Gel and various brushes
Tires - OPC, dressed with Hyper Dressing 3:1
Clay - Blackfire Clay and M34 as lube
Initial correction step - D300/M105 mix on the GG6 with Megs MF cutting pads
Finishing Step - Optimum Hyper polish on crimson LC pads
Protection - Optimum Opti-Guard

Hard to capture good shots with the metallic but you can still see the difference after D300

PPF had some deep scuffs in a few areas

After...lol, Brinkmann was losing power

From what I'm told they are essentially the same product but OC 2.0 has about 4x more solvents. You should expect the same results but OG will leave behind a thicker layer of product and be ready to move out the door after about an hour.
