Black 2004 Viper Mamba video

But jazzyjack, you have to consider Zaino Bros., Originators of Show-Car Polish, sponsored for Autopia Carport for $99 per month. So that might be why they are welcomed.

There is a difference here guys. Basically it's what I said in my above post that they are trying to stop anything that could be considered <em class='bbc'>advertising[/i]. If Mr. XX tries Zaino and loves it and mentions it all the time, it's okay! He isn't advertising, he's just ecstatic about a good product.

Now if on the other hand, Sal Zaino came on here saying "oh, you'll have problems with product A, try Zaino," that would surely be deleted for advertising spam.

Let's not be too hard on the moderators now. Those who mention Zaino or most other products have no personal interest in the product other than liking it (as far as I assume). Let's keep the civility around here.

PS: Speaking of advertising, have you guys visited http://autopia-carport.com lately?

A kind reminder to all that this forum is a NO SPAM ZONE. If you advertise or mention "your organization's" products or services, you are advertising. Please don't. This forum is open to the exchange of all ideas and product information, however, spam will be removed without notice to the author.

to try and see....it must be because ron promoted his own stuff....which he has done a baziilion times in the past....and it was fine....i mean i cant wait to get the ABC next spring...so the part about"your organization' means that i can post autoint.com all i want....or zaino or whatever....but ron and sal couldnt.....i gotta go with u guys on this one....i mean...say newbie comes on...and every answer to every post he/she is steering people to his and only his product...that that cannot be tolerated.....but if a veteran member sees a post about a product...foreverblack...and thinks that his is better....and not a "shoe polish'....i mean hell...i want the better product no matter who makes it....i wanted to check out the kit too...just to compare.....and i still will...but if i didnt see it there last nite than i would be screwed.....

BTW...the part of the above thread that irks me is....dont even "mention" the site.....according to that....all the pro detailing guys on here better take their links outta their sigs....thats a business and they are advertising....this is really getting to me....it has far reaching consequences..................i think this whole spam thing really has to be more though out...i mean more well defined....

Answering the question ;) Did you try to rub out the scratches with a polish? Is it a whole scratch or stain like unremoval wax spot?

the rules are simple, although it may not be fair

We are not to put a link to another site if the person posting the link is a part of that site.

We also may not post like we are directly advertising a product.

You know Ron he says (and in this case does) what ever the heck he wants. Unfortunately it doesn't agree with the rules of this site.

post all you want about, well, you know what ;)

I see u edited your profile Steve ;)

and i want to ask ron on autopia about it so we can all share it...then...according to the above....he cant mention to me an answer.....i hear you though puter.....i agree with you in my post.....but its a fine line there....i never heard of zaino...autoint...I-CAR...any of them til i came here.....i have a feeling...weird....i dont remeber anybody deleting any links when not that many autopians were interested in ABC....then Brad gave that kikass review...people started getting it....then steve talked about bulk buys...in smaller sizes.....then............pooof...no more links to there.....

Autopia has been very liberal in the past on their policies concerning advertising or spamming on their forums.

I am quite suprised many of the people giving direct links to their sites have not had their posts deleted in the past. I don't know why they even allow people put a link to their commercial web address in their profile.

I believe they need to either be vigilant and enforce policies for everyone all the time or relax their policy for everyone.

It does seem like they are picking and choosing when to enforce their policy. I would like to see a consistent enforcement of their rules.

People have been mentioning Zaino and CMA links aren't deleted. That's because Zaino and CMA's owners don't post here (as far as I know). That's why CMA links are okay, not to mention the fact that their generosity gives us a place to discuss this obsession we all have;)

I posted a thead about the quality of some neatiems towels that I got today, and that thread was deleted. All I did in the thread was mention that the quality of them was up to par with my Miracle Towels, but I guess somehow that was "Spam" :down

I did read Showroom's post regarding neatitems towels. It was nothing but a rave review of a product by a very happy user. The only questionable thing I saw in the post was that it was not in the Product Reviews section, but you don't delete posts over that.

Sorry to autopia if I'm misinterpreting but this seems to be going too far.

The least they could do is edit the posts questionable content out and leave the helpful bit, assuming there is some. Of course, most posts that I see tie the helpful bit and the commercial bit together. Which is fine by me for the established users here, such as Ron.

Are we going to hear from a mod about what is going on, or be left to guess? Besides the "no spam" announcment

Well, I think I'll quit asking product specific questions or posting product names, brands etc. not to cause trouble.

I fear that we're becoming something like 'read-only' members :)

Holly-Marie told me to use "Private email" of my forum account to discuss other products NOT sold on CMA's web site.

I guess if it's not sold here, I/we can't share with anyone about the job quality it did, unless of coarse I'm flaming the product due to lack of performance.

I'm very confused...

I was not aware of this fact.

So what is the Forum stance on this new topic within a topic about SPAMing?

Heck I bet every thread has referance to a product and the majority of them are not sold by CMA.

I did post a thread in Forum about the rules thingy where I ask this question. I suggest all redirect your responses there or start a new thread there so it is in the proper place.

Here's the thread Guess started. DB replied to it. . .

http://www.autopia-carport.com/forum/showthread.php3?s=&postid=45605

By the way, the email from Holly-Marie sounds like a complete shocker. I can't believe a forum moderater would say things like "if our people don't sell it, don't post about it." That's nonsense. Perhaps David took the day off of the forum and she 'supervised' us instead, and had a misconception of what the rules are.

Apologies in advance to any at Autopia I may offend with this post but I feel this stuff needs to be said.

it's a very fine line, kinda hard to judge sometimes

Blackfire is way better than Souveran so don't buy it? or Souveran is way better than Blickfire so don't buy it? not sure because they're both at CMA and that's bound to break a rule.

hmmm

Uploading this video in full hd has been a nightmare. For some reason it just wont under my account. Someone had just posted a video with this song in it, so I do apologize but I've been working on this for three weeks now.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GGTH7a5RJ2U

It is on youtube in full hd, on my clients account however. They removed the song on that version for some reason?
