Rasky's Auto Detailing
PresdntialDtail said:Car looks fantastic Rasky!! I like that you used the 105/205 combo on this one, I am almost definitely going to that combo for all/most of my future details. Were you using the kevin brown method? Im picking up some 205 and a PC this weekend, cant wait for detailfest and the megs class!
Thanks Billy!
Isn't the Kevin Brown method using M105 and a DA?
I worked the M105 @ around 1200-1400 RPM's....maybe a little slower with the W7006 pad. I started off applying medium/heavy pressure and then backed off on the pressure after a few passes. This was with the new DA version of M105 BTW. I used the zenith point technique with the M205 for both the polishing and finishing steps. Typically I would have used my FLEX for the final step, but for some reason M205 was not working well with a DA on this paint. This was actually the first time I have seen this with M205. The paint was VERY hard, but it seemed to scratch very easy....similar to the newer Corvette paints.
20 Days to DF!!!! Woo Hoo! :woohoo:
