Black 06 ZO6 Need I Say More!

This is my car he worked on and I can tell you I can't see any trails left by his process. The truth of the matter is black is never going to be flawless. It's black. Plain and simple. However, he was able to remove the more noticable swirls and webbing from normal wear over the past year. In direct sun there are still very minor marks that can be seen if you get right up close, tilt your head just the right way and squint...so needless to say I'm thrilled with his results.

Aside from the swirl removal/deminishing, the depth of the shine is great. I kept up with Zaino on my own and that has always made it look deep, but I'm really liking the look of the #16 finish.

I'll definitely be taking my Corvette back to him the next time it needs his skilled attention.

Yeah that looks great, love the last pic. The reason you got away with out using a polishing or even a finishing pad was probably due to the very hard Vette paint. On most other paints that process would have been less desirable. I have done a few and know how hard it is. Having said that, I still used a polishing pad after the cutting just to refine the finish and it seemed to make an improvement. The work I've done on Vette's was with a PC, I now have a Hitachi rotary. I can't wait to try the Hitachi on a Vette.

Thanks Brent, as for the one step the 106 is not very aggressive and I would not have used a yellow pad with any other car. following it up with a polish pad would have done nothing on this clear, I tried. Feel free to try my process and tell me what you think.
