I plan on getting a Short Throw Shifter, Summer rims (use the stockers for winter), MAYBE some exhaust and a Cobb AP, and Gauges. I plan to pay this off quickly and then get a old 88-93 Fox Body Mustang and make it a road race car.
 
I was really disapointed with the '06 STi. I thought for sure they would have done something to increase power to it. Other than the snout they put on the grille it is the same STi that it was in '05. I'd take an '05, but that front just doesn't do anything for me.

The car doesn't have a short throw already? My '05 Legacy GT came with the STi short throw shifter in it. I figured it was just a stock part of the STi that could be ordered seperately to upgrade a Legacy or Impreza. Personally I don't really think it is that short of a throw, but it is shorter than the Legacy GT stock shifter for sure.

A COBB AP is on my list of things to get too. I live in Salt Lake and drive right by COBB every day on the way to work. There is a turbo surging issue that SOA doesn't seem to know how to fix, but COBB has it figured out. If for no other reason I will get one just to fix that problem.
 
I believe the nose was designed to change the airflow into the grille for FIA xxxxlogation pruposes, I'm still deciding if I like it or not but regardless, it's a heck of a car. IMO a catback (and a higflow cat or test pipe depending on your locale) is the best upgrade you can do to a factory turbo car short of a bigger turbo or a computer upgrade.

yea, but some forums have posts of people saying that they are underrated. :confused: Yea, it was a option, i test drove a white one with the shifter and loved it.

You car looks sexy as hell and i'm not a big fan of subarus! You must have lots of patience to work with that black paint.
