bird droppings...emergency help

Glad you guys enjoyed the fettish description of the poop. Maybe I should shop my pics to "Poop Illustrated" magazine...?

Bill, the bottle you keep in your car is IPA+distilled water+baking soda, or is ittwo bottles: one with IPA and water, the other with baking soda and water...?

How much does the IPA cut through sealant or wax? Do you adda a little sealant or wax to that areas after its washed?

Tnx

Sorry for the delay, I've been fielding a lot of mini detail jobs lately.

Nope, not all mixed together: 1 mini spray bottle of IPA:water and another of water with some baking soda mixed. I use gauze pads to hold the stuff in place to keep it dwelling with good success. Use plenty of MFs and once you've done this process, then get it home as soon as you can to wash the area. Claying is always optional as a step in there as well.

You're definitely gonna have to reapply your LSP. Unless the poop is very mild ( and really no way of telling for sure), it's compromised the LSP to some degree.

I'm not quick to reapply the LSP right away, maybe wait over night, then do it.

I saw an ad for a new gel product by Rain X which may do the same trick as all of this. I'm unsure and I guess I'd have to ask around. If it's good, I will get it and create a mini, to go bottle of that too.

If you do not have car care products to hand to remove bird waste then this may sound rather vulgar but spit on the target area!

The saliva contains natural solvents to break down the composition of bird waste making it easier to remove. However, if the bird has a wingspan in excess of 6 foot then you better have a lot of saliva at the ready (think of baby back ribs in BBQ sauce - that'll do the trick). ;)

Anthropologists have determined that the ability for human saliva to break down poop has increased exponentially since the rise of the "Corporation" in modern society...

In fact, most people who drive really nice luxury cars have really well-developed saliva for that... :cooleek:
