Bird Bombs on Fiance's new X1

So the day after she picked up her dark metallic gray X1, I did the wash, clay, polish, blackfire crystal seal job to it.  About 2 months later, we had some bad weather for a week straight, so it obviously didn't get washed.  Then we went on a road trip to New Orleans in it, and it sat under a tree one night.  It picked up some bird droppings on the hood.  I didn't want to wipe them off at the time because the car was so dirty already, so I just wanted to wait to get a good wash in.  We didn't get around to washing it until several days later, and it appears it left some etching or something in the paint.  I figured the BFCS would help protect against this!

What can I do to get these spots out?  This is AFTER I washed it, and the spots are only noticeable from certain angles.

First step, I'd decontaminate the vehicle with an "ABC" wash lest the nasty stuff take up permanent residence in the pores of the paint.  Only then would I start abrading away the clear.
