whew this thing was a killer ... check it out i brought back this single stage paint with my rotary buffer and an edge 2000 double sided wool pad .. then polished with my pc ... to remove swirls .. these are before and during shots

yea sometimes the pc wont cut it so out comes the rotary .. you know at this time last year i didnt even own a pc yet .then i bought a rotary and was terrified to use it i practiced on my own cars with the rotary and now ive got the hang of it ..

Good job Ron

Those rims can be a nightmare to get clean the dust will bake into the finish over years if they are not kept up.

was up beemer ... i didnt even touch those wheels all i did was spray P&S BRAKE BUSTER on them and rinse off .. that stuff is amazing for chrome or coated aluminum wheels .. try it out ..you have to rinse out the sprayer after each use or the acid will eat up the seal inside the sprayer

thanks alot .. its guys like clean dean and anthony orosco that challenge me to get better all the time .. detail city is awesome ..i remember the days when detailers did not give up any info to each other .. dc is helping to change that ...

how did you find the blue wool edge 2k compared to blue foam edge 2K? Did you find the Wool easier to use, work the product longer? Very interested in using a light wool pad as in finishing, only tried wool for cutting probably like most of us.

Good job

i liked the blue wool pad for this application but i probably wouldnt have stopped there with a clearcoat paintjob . i would have gone to foam pad then used my pc to finish it off .. this was a quick makeover job . any improvement would have satisfied the customer . she paid 100.00 for the car and 125.00 for the buff job... i have an edge 2000 blue pad and it doesnt seem to have any cutting power ..

Bigron, EXCELLENT WORK !!! The rotary is such a incredible tool once you work with it enough. You obviously have developed some great skills, and the more you work with the rotary, you will see that it will not only produce excellent results, but it will take you less and less time to buff out a car.

Do you use foam pads with the rotary? Have you ever used a swirl remover like SSR1 or #9 with a polish or final polish foam pad?

You can eliminate the PC on most finishes with a less aggressive pad and the rotary.

ONCE AGAIN GREAT JOB !!!!
