Biggest job ever...

A huge task! Nice money and great work.
I'm not sure if I would have taken that on...
Really outstanding!

On re-reading the thread I have a couple of questions?

1. Were the trucks pre-washed due to environmental concerns?
2. Do you have more info on Kondrite metal polish?

Scooter,
I read almost the same thing on Autopia about truck washes.

edschwab1...

Owner of the lot where the vehicles are parked is a stickler with who washes at his yard.

Ron... The body of the truck (dump section) was waxed with a PC and a cleaner wax. I explained to the owner that it would be fruitless to attempt to buff out this type of paint. He agreed.

Cab... Was clayed, polished, Sealed with EX and waxed w/ Nattys.

Not enough $$ in it is there?

We do a few semi's (tractors only) and have done a couple of 10 wheel dumps, it's hard to get enough of a return given the labor and especially the materials. curious to know what your material costs were on the job. the trucks look great , did you sell them a rewash program, one or two trips to the truck stop wash will kill that shine

great job! man those trucks look clean and shiny!!! great job! i have a hard enough time with my mom's SUV, i cant imagine doing a big truck like that!

Any thoughts about detailing your father's Snap-on truck?

Some days I wish I had a truck that big. It can be humiliating to be in a low sedan in Atlanta which must be the SUV capital of the world.

It sure seems that way doesn't it?

i wonder why they had 1 person wash the trucks and another detail them? If hes such a "stickler" about who washes his trucks, i guess he should have had you wash them anyway.

Great job, ive never seen DUMP TRUCKS that clean before....are they actually used or what, because they will be filthy again after 1 job?
