New here, spoke with Aaron and he told me about this place. I'm usually on Autogeek (great guys as well). I bought a bunch of stuff from them, including the new Edge 2000 kit. Still haven't been able to use it yet b/c it was windy as hell last week and haven't had the time this week. But a buddy uses the new Edge system and loves it over his other pads.
I had some waterspots on one of my suv's that had been on there for pry at least 3 years. I was using some #0000 wool and AIO and some vinegar to remove them. Worked, but my arms were killing me. So I was about to order the spot buff kit but really don't trust backings/velcro's. Called Edge and spoke with Aaron, but they didn't have a 4" line yet. BUT...he goes "what's your address?" which took me by suprise as I didn't know why he was asking. He said he was going to send me some samples of the 4" pads to try out. Got them in the mail on Friday (which happened to be my b-day, thanks lol).
I still had to use the wool in certain spots b/c the angle was awkward to really use the PC (windshield etc). But the 4" orange pad and AIO on speed 5-6 worked awsome, my windows are so much better now. Even the area on the windshield where the wipers miss. Next week I'm going to try a full detail, plish, wax etc. And I'm going to use the 4" orange on certain areas that he 6" pads are a tad to large for. He also sent me a 4" blue which will come in handy.
So here's big props to Aaron and Edge, top notch quality, and great customer service :bigups
I wish more people knew about Edge or the benefits of their pads. I've spoke with others and although the price is higher, they are so worth the money IMO. I love the quick release, dual sided pads which are handy on suv's trucks, and the fact that Edge will makes custom pads like foam on one side and wool on the other. Need to figure out how to explain the benefits better to others who are kinda put off by the price.
