Advance Auto Parts also has a 12 pack of terry towels for $6 last time I went. I wouldnt use them on the paint, but they're great for wheel well/rim cleaning towels.
 
Actually when I pulled these out of the package, they were mitts. Could be great for door hinges, engine bay and wheel wells.
