BFWD - 1st use along with uncontrolled rambling

Looks great....very nice white!
This is not WD, but UPGP. Looks about the same, but WD lasts a little longer than UPGP.

845 is definitly great stuff. I did 845 on one half of my hood and WD on the other. They were about the same but the WD didnt seem to stay as clean as the 845 side.

An interesting development..... on the ride home last night I was checking out the marvelous reflections in the hood. Nothing new, I frequently tempt fate dodging potholes and trying to avoid berms, ditches and other motorists whilst admiring the passing scenery reflected in the hood after a fresh detail. Lighted overhead highway signs are a particular source of amusement.

In comparing the pure BFWD reflections with the one panel that got topped with 845 it was unmistakably apparent.. and I mean REALLY noticeable... that the BFWD reflections were sharper and crisper than the ones with the 845 topper. Not only was text on signs at night noticeably sharper, during the day I noticed I could not only see trees reflected in the 845 panel, I could see branches! However, on the BFWD panel I could not only see individual branches I could count LEAVES!!! I could also clearly make out the horrified looks on the faces of the drivers of oncoming cars as I strayed into the oposing lane while admiring my obsessive handywork :scared:

I can't described the 845 topped reflections as muddy or blurry, they just didn't feature the crispness and clarity of the pure BFWD panel. I don't know if this is an apples to apples comparison because the 845 topped panel is slightly raised and slightly contoured were the comparison BFWD panel is in the middle of the flat expanse of hood. I'm gonna run some tape right down the center of the hood and top another portion of the flat center of the hood with 845 for a side by side comparison on the same flat panel. I shall report my observations, assuming I survive my foolish, inattentive driving.
