It's free enterprise. Clearly BFMS is a great product or no one would have noticed the price increase. Yes, the price went up about 30% and that is steep. Your final cost may have went up due to increase in cost to make it on Blackfire's end as Todd said earlier. Bottom line is that it costs more to make almost ANYTHING than it did only a year ago. Have you been to a grocery store lately?

IMHO, when it comes to cost, $80 still is not bad for MS. Most waxes that I have used on dark metallic paints that even come close to MS start at two times the price. With the increase in size, thats even better. Basically its in the same league as the Dodo waxes, but I prefer MS over their dark color waxes. The only wax I like more for darks is $600 a tub, so I think I will stick with MS. In comparison, still a great value.
