BF Polish, will it remove fillers

If i use Meguirs #9 2.0 or something like Scratch-x or Gs-27, will the BF Polish remove all the fillers that i have put to the paint, and should i just skip to the Paint Prx(Wax) part. And will using 9.0 over BF wax remove that layer of wax i had?

BF sealant (I am assuming you are not talking about the pre-cleaner/polish) will not remove fillers. It actually will do just the opposite... and seal them into the paint. I have put BF over #7 and #9 with no bonding issues, so it should apply fine too. :xyxthumbs

Thanks for the reply, so the sealer AKA BF ALL PAINT PROTECTION will seal the filler from #9(which i have to get since i'm using it by hand) into the paint. ANd am i correct that BF Gloss Enhancing Polish is like a Cleaner wax and will remove these fillers instead? If this is true about the Polish/CLeaner Wax, what is it's purpose then. Would i use the Polish first, then #9, then Paint PRx(Sealer Wax). Or would #9 just remove all the polish so that is pointless. Thanks

Gloss enhancing polish sounds like it is pretty mild. It sounds like it is mainly a glaze to bring out shine. I think it has some gentle cleaners that may or may not remove fillers that are there already (or maybe just reduce them a little). If you are going to use it, you would want to use it as the step right before using All Finish Protectant. GEP is not like a cleaner/wax. It really doesn't have much cleaning ability as far as I can tell, and it doesn't offer any protection at all like a cleaner/wax would. It isn't an AIO type product. More like a PPCL product. However, you could use the protectant without using GEP, and it shouldn't matter. I would think that #9 would remove the BF protectant or at least severly weaken it. I mean, #9 is fairly abrasive and cleansing as it is a swirl remover. I'd think BF is easier to remove than swirls are... :)

Like as stated above the BF GEP will not remove fillers. It's mainly to restore surface gloss. The BF AFPP is the sealent.

Hmmm, I believe GEP WILL remove fillers.....but I don't think that should be the determining factor as to whether or not you should use it.

I wouldn't worry too much about what products will remove what fillers, because until the paint surface looks perfect, there are benefits to additional applications of any paint prep product, despite the way they "remove themselves".

With that said, in my opinion, #9 is perfectly sufficient as the final prep product prior to applying wax/sealant. I would just use either #9 or GEP (doesn't matter which) and when you are happy with the way your paint looks apply your final wax/sealant.
